Seven persons were killed and 22 others injured when two passenger buses collided head-on at Boraigram in Natore on Saturday.

The injured persons were taken to Bonpara Health Complex, Natore Sadar Hospital and Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for emergency treatment.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Liton Kumar Shaha told the local journalists that identity of the deaths and injured persons could not be ascertained yet.

Moshiur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of Bonpara Highway Police Station, said the head-on collision occurred between National Travels and GM Travels adjacent to Patwary Filling Station on Bonpara-Hatikumrul highway around 11 am killing six people on the spot.

Apart from this, 22 others were reportedly injured and some of them are in serious condition.
